Wound care delivered to your doorstep
One of the big responsibilities of running a preschool is to ensure the safety of the children and to make sure no one gets hurt. One thing about having active children around, accidents are bound to happen no matter how many precautions are being taken and the adults are paying careful attention! If it happens at home, so it will happen in preschool too, so be understanding and kind if it’s just an accident, not a oversight of the school operator.
Do you have first aids kit around the house? So do make sure you always have dressing, alcohol preps, wound cleanser and antiseptic lying around the house.
Nowadays, you can even order wound care or Beautifeel products online and have them delivered to your doorstep!

My niece announced excitedly to her grandparents that her teachers are bringing them to visit a factory next week. Hey, children today have all the luck. Where did we go when we were little children? My teacher took us on a field trip to a shitty little farm where we saw cows and stepped in their shit. Oh my god, I think I hate my childhood. : - )
I jokingly asked her whether her aunt can go along and she didn’t have to think twice before replying “No, it’s for children only!”
Not that I really have time to join the school children to visit to a chocolate factory. But, then, my mind swirled in a vortex of endless free-flowing, creamy Chocolate syrup as it drifted into caramel-flavored, candy-coated, sugar encrusted fantasy factory, whereupon an array of beautifully wrapped chocolate.
Some people believe eating chocolates can cause pimples. I have no idea whether it’s a myth or a truth. But guess you can always use pimple creams to get rid of the pimples if the myth is true! :-)

When you are single and free, you may cringe at the idea of going on a custom tour or a bus tour. But, if you have children coming along on a New York sightseeing tour. Walking and taking the public transportation may sound a little too much off the beaten path. :-)
New York is a big city, there are many exciting things to do and see. Driving can be nightmare especially when you do not know the roads very well. In fact, you do not have to buy a bus and hire a driver to bring you around. There are many companies offer custom tours and will take you around the city on tour buses. You do want to make sure you book your custom tour with a reliable and reputable company, with honest and good operators. You do not want to end up getting rip off by some of the fly-by-night tour companies. One of the key feature you want to look out for this kind of custom tour is: the tour group is small so that you get personal attention of tour guides who can give you a unique and memorable tour of New York City.

If you have one or more children in the house, you would probably learn to close one eye, lower down your standard and understand the deeper meaning of “endless cleaning”!
Most children are messy eaters by nature, but you really do not want to continue to feed them or ignore their needs to be independent. Allowing them to eat by themselves actually is a great training on towards independence and confidence building exercise for the children. After all, there is this amazing stuff called vacuum cleaner! In fact an efficient vacuum cleaner that gets rid of all the pet hair, dust and broken glasses but at the same time keep your carpet in good shape is every household’s super assistant.

How many time you have heard people said they have to get a larger passenger car or a SUV because they have a new addition to the family? With the availability of auto loans that stretch over many years, it’s easy to get new cars with little money down. But, don’t people cringe every time a big portion of their monthly income go into servicing a loan for a car that depreciates in value?
In the 70s, if we are lucky to have parents who own a car, that usually mean squashing the entire family into a Japanese made compact car! We were nonetheless still happy that we were going somewhere in a C-A-R! Not at this time and age! My nephew and niece though are the only two children in the family, often complained and fought for space at the backseat. Children of this generation are spoiled !

Many of you know I am in the midst of packing and getting ready to move to Illinois, to be reunited with my husband. He is currently busy looking for an apartment for us to move into. Where we are going to live is a small town an hour outside Chicago. We may get to make weekend trips to Chicago once we settle in and check out more information on Chicago travel and interesting places to visit. But, first thing first, we need to find out more about the health insurance!
The big boy is also looking into at his employer-provided health insurance, to figure out whether he could get me on the same plan. If that’s not possible or not comprehensive, we would have to look for an affordable Illinois health care plan. So long one is alive and breathing, it’s so essential to have health insurance. Medical cost is expensive, indeed many bankruptcy and foreclosure cases in America are due to inability to pay the exorbitant medical bills.

Though this blog was started last year and have gained a pagerank of 2 for a while, I have resisted doing paid reviews on it for the past half a year. I am not too sure whether I am committing “blogicide” by jumping on the wagon at this time!
Many of my friends on MSN have started to jump off the wagon and quit writing paid posts recently. They have to quit because granny G smacked their blogs and reduced their page ranks to big fat zeros and thus not many opportunities to write about drug rehabilitation or drug rehab anymore.
Do you believe in “no risk no gain”? Is it worth taking the risk of losing the page rank 2 ? We are willing to take the risk because we need the Greebacks. We need a lot of it for the pending move to IL and for the laparoscopic surgery that I will be going through in two weeks time. We also need it to get furniture and fix up the apartment where we are going to share our lives.
Since we are going to spend some of our saving for the surgery, we need to replenish our emergency fund too! It’s always good to have a little more emergency fund to fall back on. We wouldn’t want to get into a financial crisis while we are trying to settle down. I am just grateful that my blogging obsessions that started as a hobby can be a source of income before I get a “real” job.
